works with traktor history fixer for accurate track matching.
macOS checks apps from outside the App Store on first launch. If you see “the developer cannot be verified” or “macOS cannot verify this app is free from malware”, don’t worry — the app is signed & notarized by Apple. To open it:
You only do this once — after that it opens like any other app.
uses Chromaprint to generate a unique acoustic fingerprint for every audio file — MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, M4A and more.
fingerprints identify tracks by actual audio content. wrong filename, missing tags, renamed files — doesn't matter. if it sounds the same, it matches.
scans entire folders recursively. live progress with per-track results. stop any time. picks up the last folder on next launch.
saves fingerprints.json with path, fingerprint, duration, title and artist per track. ready to load into traktor history fixer.
any file that will not decode is flagged as it scans - corrupt MP3s, truncated downloads, bad rips. export the list as CSV, or as an M3U8 + Traktor NML playlist you can open straight in Traktor.
one click rebuilds MP3s with a corrupt header so they play and fingerprint again - a byte-exact copy of the audio, no re-encode, no quality loss. originals are never touched; repairs go to a _repaired folder.
load the JSON into traktor history fixer and it uses fingerprints as the primary matching signal — far more accurate than filename or duration alone.
